Manager - Software Engineering

We are looking for a hands-on, technical Software Engineering Manager who'll spearhead our growing team of experienced software engineers. You will be charge of leading a team of 20+ engineers as we scale the business. This is a 50% hands-on and 50% managerial role: the manager is expected to understand and contribute to (client) code and also spearhead the engineering team in terms of personnel development and mentorship. Production experience in as many modern languages and stack is desirable.

This is a full-time opportunity with working hours in US Eastern Time (9am to 6pm ET)

What you'll be doing:

• Technical leadership and guidance across multiple client projects

• Partner with business, product and project leadership to ensure quality and delivery of projects in time and on budget

• Mentor and lead the engineering team in personal and career development

What we're looking for:

• 7+ years production-level, hands-on software engineering experience. Consulting or agency experience a big plus

• 5+ years engineering managerial experience leading 20+ engineers

• A (modern software) polyglot with demonstrable experience in working/adjusting/thriving in a fast-paced environment
